What’s a discovery call?
The initial discovery call is free of charge and an opportunity to say hello, discuss what you require support with and explain the next steps. There is no obligation to book an appointment following this meeting, it’s important that you feel I am the right fit for your needs.
How do I book a consultation?
By using the Calendly link you will be taken to my bookings page where you can choose which consultation is appropriate for you. Payment, if appropriate, is taken at the time of booking. If you are booking an initial nutrition consultation you will be sent a Health profile form to complete and return a minimum of 48hrs ahead of your consultation. Failure to do so could result in your consultation being delayed.
What is a Health Profile Form and why do I need to fill one in?
The HPF is a really important timeline for both of us to consider. When you experience symptoms of any kind my question is not only ‘what are they’ – more importantly I want to know WHY? What you are experiencing today could be the result of any one of a number of things you have experienced in your past – right up until this very moment in time. I’ll guide you to consider lifestyle, health, nutritional, environmental and emotional stressors that may have impacted your present heath for which you are seeking support – it can take many years for imbalance in the body to build up and express itself as symptoms. The HPF form can take a little while to fill in depending on your health history. It is an incredibly important starting point in your journey to balance and it may be the first time you’ve really had the time and space to join some dots – it is the main focal point for our first session.
Are the consultations online or in person?
The consultations are online via ‘Google Meet’ unless an ‘in person’ meeting has been agreed during the initial online discovery call.
What happens in my first appointment?
We will discuss, in more depth, the reason for which you have sought support. We will explore your health history via your HPF to understand what makes you uniquely you! We can decide if you would like to proceed with symptom lead support or if you would benefit from an integrated functional test that is appropriate to your needs. You are not required to have a test, it is entirely you decision.
What happens after my first appointment?
If you have requested a test this needs to be paid for in advance and, upon payment, the appropriate test will be ordered and sent directly to the address which you have provided. You will also receive a personalised nutrition plan, with supplement recommendations if necessary, within 10 days of your consultation. A follow up consultation can then be booked 4 – 6 weeks from receipt of your plan to discuss your progress (and test results, if applicable).
Do I get access to support after I have received my personalised nutrition plan?
Absolutely! For 4 weeks post receipt of your personalised plan you will have access to my support either by email OR 1 x 30 minute Google Meet – whichever option is more convenient for you.
